Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a customer-facing technical leader to partner with Account Executives, lead discovery, demos, onboarding, and ongoing technical health with customers. You will own risk, expansion strategy, and platform adoption to accelerate value delivery.

You will communicate with C-suite executives during Quarterly Business Reviews, translate SaaS metrics into business outcomes, and supervise onboarding from onboarding through renewal.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering; years vary by leveling.
• Broad technical expertise in web security, networking, routing, DNS, DDoS mitigation, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment.
• Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
• Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to bridge technical implementation details and C-suite business strategy.
• Cloudflare developer platform and AI ecosystem experience, including Workers AI, AI Gateway, and Vectorize, strongly preferred.
• Prompt engineering, LLM orchestration, or RAG architecture experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar languages strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery
• Build bespoke architectures and deliver product demonstrations and Proofs of Concept across Security, Networking, and Developer Platforms
• Lead or oversee technical onboarding and implementation
• Serve as the primary executive and engineering contact for customers
• Own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy with Account Executives
• Monitor customer health scores and telemetry to accelerate time-to-value and resolve integration bottlenecks
• Carry a variable quota tied to new business acquisition and/or account growth
• Drive platform adoption, revenue retention, and strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
• Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews for C-level executives
• Maintain trusted technical relationships through onboarding, maturity, renewal, and expansion
• Use AI agents and internal platforms to automate RFP/security questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, and telemetry monitoring
