Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager, or Implementation/Professional Services Consultant.
• We are seeking a proactive, self-driven engineer who moves customers forward without being told.
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to handle difficult conversations calmly and with empathy.
• Curiosity about how technology works under the hood and the ability to quickly grasp concepts.
• Experience with modern web services and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CSMs as the technical lead on a portfolio of EMEA accounts, owning their technical success from onboarding onwards.
• Lead customer onboarding, ensuring customers are set up properly and see value quickly.
• Design and manage migration strategies and other implementation plans, guiding customers through them.
• Be the go-to person for customers’ technical questions across the platform, from SDKs to data warehouses.
• Run training sessions on product areas tailored to each customer’s team and use case.
• Identify gaps in how customers use the platform and demonstrate how features can add value.
• Act as a trusted advisor on customer data strategy and architecture design.
• Gather customer feedback and share it with Product and Engineering for roadmap input.
• Develop subject matter expertise on the customer data landscape and RudderStack’s role.
• Occasionally run onsite sessions for relationship building and workshops.
• Serve as escalation point for technical incidents and drive resolutions with Engineering.
