Job summary

CIS Secure seeks a Principal Solutions Architect for our Ashburn, Virginia headquarters. This hybrid role combines on-site work with flexible remote arrangements and up to 50% travel to support customer engagements and industry events.

You will translate mission and technical requirements into compliant architectures, guiding solutions from concept to delivery while collaborating with Product, Sales, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in Aerospace/Defense designing military-hardened IT systems.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary architect of new solutions interacting with customers.
• Lead requirements documentation and design alternatives processes.
• Interface with government stakeholders to ensure DoD/Zero Trust alignment.
• Design and integrate classified network architectures and transport systems.
• Ensure TEMPEST and other security standards are met.
