Job summary

ExtraHop is seeking a Solutions Architect to advance customer outcomes across networks and applications, extending the platform with custom tools and rich data visuals. You will collaborate with diverse industries, solving complex problems and delivering hands-on learning sessions to customers.

This customer-facing role requires strong scripting and networking knowledge, excellent communication, and ownership.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• BS degree or equivalent.
• Experience in customer-facing positions; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of core networking principles (OSI layers 2–4) and application protocols (HTTP, SQL, CIFS/NFS, HL7, Memcache, DNS).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Advanced GUI development.
• Advanced Trigger Script development.
• Intermediate REST API script development.
• Analyze customer network topologies and application stacks; develop data acquisition strategies.
• Develop custom tools using Python and JavaScript-based APIs to extend the ExtraHop platform.
• Create automated tools to streamline repeatable processes and maximize time building intelligent solutions.
