Job summary

phData is a remote-first data and AI consultancy with teams across the US, LATAM, and India. We seek a Principal Solutions Architect – Managed Services to lead architecture, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud-native data platforms for multiple customers.

You will own design and provisioning of data solutions on AWS/Azure, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients and leadership to translate requirements into actionable roadmaps across streaming, data lakes, and analytics

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience architecting, operating, and optimizing modern cloud-based data platforms and data warehouses in enterprise environments.
• Advanced data platform expertise in Snowflake and at least one major cloud platform (AWS and/or Azure), with experience in Databricks or similar technologies.
• Hands-on with cloud and distributed storage like S3, ADLS, Cassandra, or other NoSQL systems.

Responsibilities

• Own design, provisioning, and enhancement of cloud-native data solutions on AWS and/or Azure, leveraging Snowflake and related data services for enterprise-scale platforms.
• Lead the operation and management of data platforms—from streaming and data lakes to analytics—for multiple concurrent customer accounts.
• Translate business and technical requirements into Epics, Stories, and Tasks that mature and improve customers’ data platforms and ensure timely delivery.
