Job summary

phData is a remote-first data and AI consultancy hiring a Sr. Solutions Architect – Managed Services to lead the Elastic Platform Operations team.

You will oversee, mature, and optimize cloud data platforms spanning streaming, data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics for enterprise clients. You will collaborate with clients, engineering and support teams, and practice leaders to deliver high-quality solutions, drive delivery excellence, and mentor engineers across time zones.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in modern cloud data platforms, data warehousing, consulting, and data engineering/operations.
• Extensive experience providing architectural guidance for cloud-native data warehouses (Snowflake/Redshift).
• Proficiency with AWS/Azure services and SQL.
• Delivery experience in professional services or consulting environments.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Own operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of cloud data platforms for enterprise customers.
• Translate business/technical requirements into robust cloud-native architectures and implementation plans.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on operational support for platforms like Snowflake and Redshift.
• Identify best practices, platform optimizations, and automation opportunities for customers.
