Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Comfortable programming in Python and SQL.
• Built solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Spark, Hadoop, Kafka for data engineering.
• Proficient in Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch for data science.
• Willing to travel to customers in your region.
• Degree in a quantitative discipline; company certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team and provide technical leadership to help customers understand how the company can help solve their business problems.
• Consult on Big Data architectures, implement proof of concepts for strategic projects, spanning data engineering, data science and ML workflows.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to support users and best practices.
• Promote and recruit contributors for company open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) across the developer community.
