Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects supporting our ISV customers in San Francisco.

You will partner with sales to drive business outcomes, develop relationships with technical executives, and guide customers in cloud architecture best practices. You will hire and coach architects, foster knowledge sharing, and influence product teams to invent new cloud solutions, while modeling AWS leadership principles

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Responsibilities

• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects
• Coach Solutions Architects to transfer deep technical knowledge with ISV customers
• Lead in building, migrating and modernizing applications on AWS
• Educate customers on AWS value proposition and engage in deep architectural discussions
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service teams and support
• Ensure your team delivers software solutions on AWS leading to business outcomes
• Partner with supporting specialist and service teams to develop solutions
• Develop relationships with customers' key technical executives and decision makers
• Contribute to ideation discussions with customers about AWS capabilities
• Coach your team to share learnings through writing and speaking engagements
• Produce high-quality documents proposing new processes or inventions
• Become an expert in AWS leadership principles and coach others to be role models
