Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in San Francisco seeks an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects who support our largest ISV customers.

You will partner with sellers to drive business outcomes, coach architects, and help invent new cloud solutions on behalf of customers. You will develop relationships with technical executives and guide customers on architecture best practices, scaling knowledge through internal and external publications and speaking

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) and cloud experience across major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects
• Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to work with ISV customers to transfer deep technical knowledge
• As a key member of the solutions architecture team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on AWS
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support
