Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to own and accelerate cloud adoption for U.S. Federal Civilian Government programs in the Western United States.

You will shape strategy, engage with customers and SI partners, and lead security-focused cloud designs. Responsibilities include defining architectures, responding to RFPs, and delivering best-practice guidance across AWS services while collaborating with sales and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in tech domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years in IT development or software/Internet implementation/consulting.

Responsibilities

• Helping U.S. Federal Civilian Government organizations implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems.
• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing deep expertise in the AWS technologies.
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services.
