Job summary

Black Duck Software, Inc. is seeking a Global Solution Architect to join the Professional Services team (East Coast).

The role focuses on bridging technical and business requirements, working with pre-sales and services to tailor workflows, and scoping services to meet customer compliance needs at scale. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in consulting or solution architecture, strong SDLC knowledge, and hands-on experience with container tech and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting, solution architecture, or related customer-facing technical role.
• Technical background in software development or scripting.
• Deep knowledge of the SDLC and DevOps tooling.
• Experience scoping custom solutions and scripting for edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture discussions and plan integration of Black Duck products into DevSecOps workflows.
• Assess customer environments and requirements to design required services.
• Identify need for strategy consulting to build out AppSec program and compliance directives.
• Collaborate with services, sales, and product teams to scope and deliver customer solutions.
• Ensure proposed solutions are implemented as designed with adaptability.
• Create technical presentations and documentation for diverse stakeholders.
• Provide technical consultation on SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions.
• Mentor others and stay current with new software development technologies.
