Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Solutions Architect to join a permanent role serving enterprise and hyperscale customers across North America. The architect will partner with customer engineering leadership to develop complex connectivity and cable backplane solutions for next-generation data center environments.

Responsibilities include liaising between customers and engineering, guiding data center infrastructure, and delivering executive-level presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience supporting interconnect, connector, cable, server, networking, storage, or data center technologies.
• Proven customer-facing experience with hyperscale or strategic technology customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams, translating requirements into solution strategies.
• Build relationships with engineering leaders at large-scale tech organizations.
• Provide guidance on data center infrastructure including rack systems and cabling architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to production.
• Deliver executive-level presentations and technical recommendations to address interconnect challenges.
