Job summary

UL Standards & Engagement is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to guide technology decision-making and design the organization’s solution portfolio. You’ll partner with stakeholders, evaluate platforms, and promote architectural governance while aligning with ULRI‑ULSE’s mission.

You will lead the creation of standards, reference models, and documentation, ensuring secure and compliant designs across Azure, AWS, Salesforce, and M365.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Experience with SaaS/PaaS platforms (M365, Salesforce, Workday) and IaaS (Azure, AWS).
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise solution architectures aligned with business strategy.
• Lead evaluation and selection of technology platforms, services and integration approaches.
• Produce architecture deliverables: diagrams, reference models, standards and governance docs.
• Ensure security, compliance, data protection, and quality requirements are met.
