Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to drive early-stage evaluation and enable ongoing value realization for customers. You will partner with Account Executives to serve as the key technical advisor, surfacing business needs and crafting technical designs to meet them.

You’ll help customers adopt new patterns, facilitate discussions, and drive creative solutioning to overcome challenges, contributing to sustained customer success and incremental adoption of IBM technology.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Solutions Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with Event-Driven architecture, data integration and processing.
• Exposure to cloud architecture, migrations, deployment and app development.
• Experience with automation, GitOps and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or SQL.
• Technical certifications in Cloud/Data topics are a plus.
• Proven communication skills and ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Advance new and innovative Data Streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live.
• Lead Technical Proofs of Concept and collaborate with Account Executives.
