Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to help clients solve complex business challenges through data streaming, cloud, and integration solutions. You will collaborate with account teams to design technical solutions and drive adoption of Confluent-based architectures.

You will lead discovery sessions, deliver technical talks, mentor peers, and partner with product and engineering teams to ensure customer success and value realization across deployments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in solutions engineering or similar.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and data technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Python or SQL.
• Cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advance new data streaming use-cases from conception to Go-Live.
• Execute on and lead Technical Proofs of Concept.
• Conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions for new use-cases.
• Provide Thought Leadership via Technical Talks & Workshops.
• Guide customers to improve deployment maturity of Confluent deployments.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering as a technical advocate across ecosystems.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and serve as a dependable partner.
