Job summary

Matillion, the Maia AI Data Automation platform leader, seeks a Senior Solution Architect in San Francisco to translate customer needs into scalable data solutions. You will engage with enterprise clients, guide technical discussions, and demonstrate business value of Matillion’s platform.

You will lead workshops, trials, and integrations, collaborate with sales and product teams, and help customers achieve first value and ongoing adoption while shaping market feedback.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years working with Enterprise customers in a technical role (e.g., Solution Architect, Sales Engineer).
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB).
• Hands-on experience with APIs, Linux, and SQL; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Discover customer requirements and map them to success metrics and business outcomes.
• Lead workshops, trials, or POCs to validate solution fit and guide integration into customer data stacks.
• Support customer cadences and drive platform adoption and upsell opportunities.
• Create technical content and represent Matillion at industry events and user groups.
• Provide product feedback to Engineering teams and stay current with data integration and cloud trends.
