Job summary

Matia, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to sit at the interface of Sales, Product, and Customer Success. You will own the technical win during the sales cycle and ensure customers deploy and derive value from Matia after purchase.

You’ll lead product demos, manage POCs, map architecture across the Modern Data Stack, onboard new customers, provide front-line support, and feed field needs back to Product and Engineering. SQL fluency and 4+ years in related roles are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Solutions Engineering, Technical Support, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Strong understanding of the Modern Data Stack.
• Able to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and executives.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote-friendly startup environment.
• Experience in data consultancy or as a practitioner is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Demonstrations: high-impact product demos and workshops.
• Manage Proof-of-Concepts (POCs): define success criteria and guide evaluation.
• Architecture Mapping: create diagrams and assets showing Matia integration with the data stack.
• Technical Onboarding: lead the technical implementation for new customers.
• Front-line Support: be the primary technical contact for customer inquiries.
• Bridge Product & Market: funnel field feedback to Product/Engineering.
• GTM Collaboration: work with Marketing on technical content.
