Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Oncology Sales Specialist to lead field-based efforts across Idaho, Montana, Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon. You will execute sales strategies for current and potential oncology therapeutics, build key accounts, and cultivate relationships with physicians, hospitals and health systems.

The role demands a strong understanding of reimbursement, clinical data, and territory planning, with ability to travel and engage customers virtually when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Oncology specialty sales experience and/or major hospital account sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel including overnights/weekends.
• Minimum of two years direct selling experience in pharmaceutical or biologic/biotech with success delivering sales results or relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in hospital and large account sales with complex reimbursement and managed care dynamics.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to identify key decision makers.
• Willingness to reside in the geography or relocate as needed.
• Comfort with virtual technology and engaging customers virtually.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential oncology therapeutics.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products’ clinical efficacy and provide clinical support to achieve sales quota.
• Develop account strategies and plans for penetration in assigned territory.
• Create pre- and post-call plans with objectives and supporting materials.
• Build customer loyalty and cultivate new relationships with decision-makers.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to share insights and drive business results.
• Maintain knowledge of reimbursement and health economics affecting the territory.
• Attend required meetings and complete training and administrative duties.
