Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Oncology Sales Specialist (Solid Tumor) for the Tacoma, WA territory. This field-based role reports to a District Manager and focuses on selling current and potential oncology therapeutics while demonstrating product knowledge and clinical efficacy.

The OSS will develop account strategies, build relationships with key decision makers, and use virtual tools to engage customers. Two years of pharma/biotech sales or relevant clinical experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Oncology specialty sales experience and/or major hospital account sales experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, including overnights and weekends
• Minimum of two years direct selling experience in pharma/biotech with demonstrated success
• Experience in hospital and large account sales with complex reimbursement
• Strong relationship-building skills and goal achievement
• Willingness to relocate to the territory
• Ability to engage customers via virtual technology

Responsibilities

• Fulfill sales strategies by selling current and potential oncology therapeutics.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge, provide information, and meet sales quotas.
• Prospect for new business, develop account strategies to increase territory sales.
• Create pre- and post-call plans with objectives, probes and materials.
• Build relationships and influence decision-makers with targeted messages.
• Collaborate with JNJ Innovative Medicine team to enhance results.
• Maintain knowledge of products, reimbursement, and health economics.
• Understand healthcare delivery within accounts and physician hierarchies.
• Attend meetings, complete training, and handle administrative duties.
