Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Advanced Solar Technician for Hollis Creek Energy Center in Many, LA. The role focuses on operating and maintaining the solar site, performing routine maintenance on solar equipment, and supporting substation operations to ensure reliability.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 4+ years in renewable energy O&M or 8+ years of relevant experience, with willingness to travel and work nights as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in renewable energy operations and maintenance, or 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Willing to support other project sites in the region.
• Willing to work nights during maintenance.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Able to climb and work from a portable ladder.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Perform vegetation management and operate large equipment per plan.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues including inverter and tracker faults.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components of the site.
• Conduct daily site maintenance with proper safety equipment.
• Maintain tools, facilities, and a clean, safe work environment.
