Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Advanced Solar Technician for the Hollis Creek Energy Center in Many, Louisiana. This role focuses on operating and maintaining the solar site, including routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on solar arrays, substations, and associated equipment.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in renewable energy operations and maintenance (or 8+ years in related fields), be willing to travel up to 30%, and work nights during maintenance windows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in renewable energy operations and maintenance, or 8+ years in related experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Willing to work nights during maintenance activities.
• Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on all site solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Perform vegetation management and operate large equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot inverter, tracker, network, and substation faults and site performance issues.
• Wear safety gear and conduct daily site maintenance; inspect, repair, and service equipment.
• Maintain tools, facilities, and a clean, safe work environment.
