Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Many, LA is seeking a Solar Technician to assist in operating and maintaining the Hollis Creek Energy Center. You will perform routine maintenance on solar equipment, substations, and related systems while following safety protocols.

The role requires basic electrical/technical experience, willingness to travel up to 30%, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and night work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year technical electrical/maintenance experience or education.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Perform vegetation management, including operating large equipment to maintain the site per plan.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues, including inverters, trackers, and network communications.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of site components.
• Conduct daily site maintenance with safety equipment and inspections.
• Maintain tooling, facilities, and equipment; ensure a safe work environment.
