Job summary

Invenergy LLC is hiring an Advanced Solar Technician for Hollis Creek Energy Center in Many, LA. You will assist in operating and maintaining a 185 MW-AC solar facility, performing routine mechanical and electrical tasks, and supporting vegetation management.

The role requires 4+ years in renewable energy O&M or 8+ years relevant experience, travel up to 30%, and the ability to work outdoors and at times nights during maintenance. Safety gear and readiness for varied schedules are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years renewable energy O&M or 8+ years relevant experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30% and support other sites.
• Willing to work nights during maintenance activities.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather and climb safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on site solar, substation, and related equipment.
• Manage vegetation and operate large equipment per plan.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues including inverters and trackers.
• Understand site electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct daily site maintenance with appropriate safety gear.
• Adhere to varying 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule with possible overtime/night work.
