Job summary

Nexamp Inc. is seeking a Senior Solar Project Engineer to lead engineering execution for PV and BESS projects across the lifecycle. The role involves coordinating internal teams, external engineers, and vendors to deliver cost-effective, constructible solutions that meet project objectives.

You will mentor junior staff, drive standard improvements, and participate in ongoing technology evaluations with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solar or BESS design or project engineering.
• Experience leading engineering for complex PV/BESS projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC/IBC/IFC and design codes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and third-party resources.
• Experience with CAD and energy modeling outputs for decision support.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design across full project life cycle.
• Coordinate internal teams, engineers, and vendors to optimize packages.
• Own technical decisions balancing cost, schedule, and performance.
• Develop plant performance models and analyze tradeoffs.
• Review deliverables, specifications, and ensure constructability.
