Job summary

Nexamp Inc. in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Solar Project Engineer to lead engineering execution for PV and BESS projects across the full lifecycle, coordinating internal teams, external partners, and vendors to deliver technically sound, cost-effective solutions and ensure timely project delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, advance engineering standards, and help scale Nexamp's grid-ready projects while modeling performance, reviewing designs, and ensuring code compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solar or BESS project engineering.
• Experience leading engineering for complex PV/BESS projects across full life cycle.
• Proficient in NEC, IBC, IFC design/code principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design execution for PV and BESS projects across the full life cycle.
• Own project-level technical decisions and drive risk resolution.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform design reviews.
• Review key engineering deliverables and ensure code compliance.
