Job summary

PowerFlex seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead engineering from due diligence to construction for solar, storage, and EVSE projects. You will drive technical development, manage vendors, and ensure alignment with agreements while maintaining cost efficiency and schedule integrity.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Hybrid work options are available across multiple US offices or remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field.
• 4+ years in Solar or BESS system design or project engineering.
• Experience with medium/high voltage equipment preferred.
• EVSE experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering scope from notice to proceed through construction and closeout.
• Ensure compliance with EPC, PPA, Leases; coordinate between engineering firms and vendors.
• Manage consultant solicitations and contracts for project execution.
• Oversee customer communications during design and construction phases.
• Organize design packages with engineering firms and oversee procurement.
• Maintain project budget and cost tracking; inspect during installation.
• Coordinate utility commissioning and testing; handoff to O&M/Asset mgmt.
