Job summary

PowerFlex, an EDF power solutions company, seeks a Senior Project Engineer in a hybrid role based in California to lead engineering and construction of commercial solar, storage, and EVSE projects. You will manage scope from due diligence to construction and closeout, coordinating with EPCs, vendors, and clients across 500 kW–10 MW projects.

The role requires 4+ years in solar or BESS, HV experience, and a proactive, collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field.
• 4+ years of experience in Solar or BESS design or project engineering.
• Experience with medium and high voltage equipment preferred.
• EVSE experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering scope from site due diligence through commissioning.
• Ensure alignment with EPC, PPA, leases and interconnection agreements; manage engineering firms and vendors.
• Manage consultant solicitations and contracts for project requirements.
• Coordinate design and handoff with operations and maintenance for project closeout.
