Job summary

Sentior, Ltd. is seeking a Lead Solar Project Engineer to drive technical execution for utility-scale solar and storage projects in the United States.

The role coordinates across discipline engineers, EPCs, consultants and grid operators to ensure design readiness, interconnection compliance and successful turnover. Responsibilities include leading design reviews, managing deliverables across design-to-commissioning, and driving risk resolution in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical execution for solar, BESS, and solar-plus-storage projects across engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate with project managers, EPC contractors, consultants and OEMs to ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, cost, quality and interconnection requirements.
• Drive design reviews, comment resolutions, and readiness for construction and commissioning.
• Oversee interconnection technical reviews and ensure documentation, models and settings support milestones.
• Identify risks and resolve cross-functional issues affecting scope, schedule or interconnection readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership within a matrix organization to maintain alignment across teams.
