PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, is a leading provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions specializing in solar, storage, EV charging, and microgrids. The Project Engineer II will support detailed engineering and construction, traveling about weekly to support project execution.
The hybrid role can be based in Mountain View, San Diego, Los Angeles, or New York, CA/NY, and requires strong communication and design skills with proficiency in Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Excel.
Formación
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical preferred) or related major.
- 2+ years of experience.
- Proficient in Helioscope, AutoCAD, PVSyst and Excel.
- Experience with Procore and Salesforce a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Design and engineer commercial and small utility-scale solar PV projects.
- Communicate with utilities on an ongoing basis.
- Stay up-to-date on code and policy changes that impact system design.
- Coordinate cadence with customer during design phase and construction phase.
- Coordinate design package with Engineering firms.
- Coordinate with vendors and lead procurement of materials.
- Perform inspections during the installation process.
- Oversee commissioning process.
- Assist in close out of projects with utility.
- Perform production analysis for PV systems.
- Assist Business Development team with pre-contract due diligence.
