Job summary

UGE is seeking a Senior Development Manager to act as a technical anchor across the renewable energy portfolio, guiding projects from feasibility through COD, overseeing risk, and ensuring on-schedule execution.

The role collaborates with engineering, finance, construction, and origination teams, mentors staff, and helps raise internal standards while supporting relocation to NYC or Denver office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in renewable energy development.
• Experience managing solar PV and/or BESS projects.
• Strong ability to oversee scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentorship and leadership of development teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide portfolio-wide technical oversight across projects.
• Manage projects through the full development lifecycle from feasibility to COD.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, construction and origination teams.
• Mentor developers and improve internal standards and templates.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with utilities, landowners, and other stakeholders.
