Job summary

UGE International is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex solar PV and energy storage projects from concept to operation in a hybrid onsite role (New York City). You will direct cross-functional teams, manage contracts, and oversee budgets, while delivering projects on schedule and within scope.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in solar/energy storage PM, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to mentor other project managers and coordinate with Development, Engineering,

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of solar or energy storage project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or quantitative field.
• Excellent written and oral communication for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership and ability to drive project teams to success.
• Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Development, Engineering, Procurement, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Strategic oversight for multiple projects across regions.
• Manage procurement, contracts, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee EPC budget from NTP to completion and forecast cash flow.
• Lead and mentor project managers and develop the team.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and key meetings.
• Ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance while managing risk.
• Engage stakeholders including clients, utilities, and AHJs.
