Job summary

Illuminate USA, based near Columbus, seeks a Sales Manager to drive growth across the Eastern United States. You will build and manage relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, and distributors, guiding high-value opportunities from initial contact to contract execution.

The role requires a proven solar sales background, a broad industry network, and the ability to travel frequently while coordinating with internal teams to meet targets and deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years B2B sales or business development.
• Experience selling solar modules or in renewable energy.
• Established relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, or distributors.
• Ability to travel regularly along East Coast; strong pipeline management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategy aligned with revenue, volume, and profitability goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the East Coast territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, and distributors.
• Manage end-to-end sales process: prospecting, qualification, proposals, and closing.
• Develop a robust pipeline and maintain accurate forecasts in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Marketing.
• Travel regularly and report sales performance to the VP of Sales.
