Illuminate USA, based in Columbus area, seeks a Sales Manager to grow regional sales across the Eastern United States. You will manage relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, and distributors, driving opportunities from qualification through contract execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in B2B solar sales, a strong network, and proven ability to close high-value deals. Travel across the East Coast and collaboration with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Marketing are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Experience selling solar modules or in renewable energy industry.
• Established relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, IPPs, distributors, or related customers.
• Proven success managing large, complex sales opportunities and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience developing regional sales strategies, pipelines, and reliable forecasts.
• Strong understanding of the U.S. solar market and competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

• Pursue new business opportunities throughout the East Coast territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with solar developers, EPCs, utilities, IPPs, distributors, and strategic customers.
• Manage the full sales process: prospecting, qualification, presentations, pricing, proposals, contracts, closing.
• Develop a strong pipeline and accurate forecasts; maintain CRM updates.
• Partner with VP of Sales to set priorities, targets, and customer strategies.
• Monitor market conditions, pricing, policy developments, and demand in the region.
• Represent Illuminate USA at meetings, conferences, and events; travel as needed.
