DNV GL USA, INC. is seeking a Senior Solar Energy Analyst to provide solar resource and energy assessments for utility-scale and distributed solar projects across North America. You will analyze solar and climatic datasets, perform energy modeling, and develop bankable yield assessments while ensuring quality according to DNV standards.

This role emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement of analytic tools and methodologies within a trusted, data-driven culture.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct long-term solar resource and energy production assessments for utility-scale, distributed generation, commercial & industrial, community solar, residential, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
• Analyze solar and climatic datasets, perform energy modeling, predict energy production, and conduct statistical uncertainty analyses.
• Analyze operational production and performance data from solar plants, evaluate resource variability, derive modeling parameters, assess system losses including degradation, and support the development of bankable energy yield assessments for project development, financing, acquisition, and operational decision-making.
• Ensure deliverable quality according to DNV's standards: prepare technical reports, collaborate on assumptions and methodologies, communicate findings to customers and stakeholders, and conduct technical review and QA activities.
• Be a part of a trusted and independent data-driven culture: work with analysts to implement latest methods, tools, and technologies, and contribute to process improvements and software workflows.
