Job summary

SolAmerica Energy seeks a Solar Quality Engineer to safeguard our solar and energy storage portfolio. You will oversee QA/QC across active construction sites, perform field audits, ensure NEC compliance, and manage commissioning protocols with EPC contractors.

You will own the NCR lifecycle, enforce safety standards, and verify testing and energization processes align with EPCA, NEC, and IE specs. This role blends engineering authority with field execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Solar-Specific QA/QC Experience with owner-developer, IE firm, or tier-1 EPC contractor.
• Proven track record in renewable energy project construction outcomes.
• Deep understanding of the solar industry and interconnection processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Internal Quality Assurance Plan.
• Review EPC Quality Control Plan per contract documents.
• Use PMIS/construction software for inspections and quality checks.
• Manage site quality inspections with internal and external stakeholders.
