Job summary

Silicon Ranch Corporation in Georgia is hiring a Solar PV Operation and Maintenance Technician III for Field Operations across multiple GA sites. This role leads preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoots PV systems, and ensures reliability of UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE networks.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in electrical maintenance, 1+ year in utility-scale solar PV O&M, and holds or is pursuing NEC/NFPA70E/OSHA and a state electrical license or NABCEP certification.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in electrical trade or related maintenance.
• 1+ year in utility-scale solar PV O&M.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, IT systems, inverters, substations desired.
• State electrical license or NABCEP certification desired.
• OSHA 30 and CPR/BLS within 4 weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead preventive maintenance on PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform and lead corrective maintenance at each facility, including the PV system and related infrastructure.
• Respond to emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
• Log all work in the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform.
• Assist in field investigations for predictive analytics and root cause analysis.
• Mentor and train direct reports in the defined area of operations.
• Provide site access to third party contractors and participate in training.
