Job summary

Silicon Ranch seeks an experienced Solar PV Operation and Maintenance Technician III for Field Operations across Georgia sites (Hazlehurst, Jesup, Vidalia, Waycross, Douglas). You will lead corrective and preventive maintenance, inspect and troubleshoot PV facilities, and coordinate with field teams to ensure reliable solar production.

The role requires 4+ years in electrical maintenance and 1+ year in utility-scale solar PV O&M, with strong mechanical aptitude and experience with MV/HV systems.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills with computers and electronic equipment.
• Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat proficiency.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards.
• Valid Driver's License.
• OSHA 30 and CPR/BLS within 4 weeks of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead scheduled preventative maintenance across PV facilities, including UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform and lead corrective maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled.
• Respond to emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
• Log work performed via the CMMS platform.
• Conduct electrical testing with IV Curve Tracers, Power Quality Meters, and related tools.
• Mentor and train direct reports in field operations.
