Job summary

Silicon Ranch seeks a Solar PV Operations and Maintenance Area Lead III for Georgia sites. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of PV systems, UPS, SCADA, substations, and MV/HV/OHE systems, leading a field team on site.

Strong electrical maintenance background and NERC-scale experience are required, with mentoring responsibilities and contractor coordination. Role demands hands-on leadership, ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and travel among Georgia sites.

Qualifications

• PV solar operations and maintenance experience required.
• On-site management experience at NERC-regulated facilities with 100 MW or greater.
• 4+ years in electrical trade or related maintenance.
• 1+ years in utility-scale solar operations and maintenance.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, IT systems, substations, or related electrical systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance at each facility, including PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Lead corrective maintenance, scheduled and unscheduled, for full PV systems and associated infrastructure.
• Respond to emergency directives for critical systems as directed.
• Log all work in the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform.
• Perform electrical testing using specialized equipment as needed.
• Support predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and defect reporting with field investigations.
• Develop and review maintenance SOPs, schedules, and checklists.
• Provide site access to third-party contractors and coordinate training.
• Attend internal and external training sessions and participate in management meetings.
• Lead and mentor direct reports; plan and schedule work in defined area.
