Job summary

Silicon Ranch Corporation is seeking an experienced Solar PV Operations and Maintenance Technician III to lead maintenance across Georgia sites (Hazlehurst, Jesup, Vidalia, Waycross, Douglas). The role focuses on preventive and corrective tasks within PV facilities, UPS, SCADA, substations, and MV/HV/OHE systems.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years in electrical trades and 1+ year in utility-scale solar PV O&M, with NEC/NFPA70E/OSHA knowledge, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to

Qualifications

• Advanced skills with computers and electronic equipment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards.
• Valid Driver’s License required; OSHA 30 and CPR/BLS within 4 weeks of employment.
• State electrical license or NABCEP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead scheduled preventive maintenance tasks at each facility, including the full PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform and lead corrective maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, at each facility, including the full PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Respond to directives for emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
• Log all work performed via the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform.
• Perform electrical testing using IV Curve Tracers, Power Quality Meters, Insulation Resistance Testers, Multimeters, and other testing equipment as needed.
• Assist management with field investigations to support predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and serial defect reports.
• Assist in creating and reviewing preventative and corrective maintenance SOP’s, schedules, and checklists.
