Job summary

Silicon Ranch in Georgia is seeking a Solar Maintenance Technician II for field operations across Hazlehurst, Jesup, Vidalia, Waycross, and Douglas. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PV facilities, UPS, SCADA, substations, and MV/HV/OHE systems to keep solar assets running reliably.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, experience in electrical trade, and the ability to work solo or in a team in varying weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical trade or maintenance.
• Experience with MV/HV systems, IT systems, inverters, T&D systems, substations or similar electrical systems desired.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on PV facilities, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform corrective maintenance and respond to emergencies as directed.
• Log all work via CMMS and assist with field investigations for predictive analytics.
• Provide site access to third party contractors as directed.
• Attend internal/external training sessions and communicate effectively with team.
