Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager and team in planning and executing utility-scale solar projects. You will track submittals, deliver materials, and coordinate contract documents to avoid conflicts on site.

Work focuses on pre-construction to closeout: document control, schedule updates, cost tracking, and ensuring safety and quality across the project lifecycle. This role offers hands-on field exposure with a growing solar portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating complex solar construction projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with document control, submittals, RFIs and cost reporting.
• Ability to support schedule development and coordination among multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Establishes document control procedures and tracks submittals.
• Coordinates project start-up, mobilization, and schedule development.
• Expedites materials through submittal logs and delivery schedules.
• Coordinates construction activities and QA/QC inspections on site.
• Supports RFI process, meeting minutes, and project reporting.
• Tracks costs, pay requests, and change order impacts.
