Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to join our national construction team. You will work with the Project Manager and field teams to drive planning, scheduling, submittals, and material coordination for utility-scale solar projects across multiple states.

You will support procurement, document control, and coordination with owners, A/E partners, and subcontractors. This role requires frequent travel and strong collaboration across disciplines to deliver complex solar installations on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
6 months to one-year internship experience as a project engineer or assistant project engineer in the construction industry.
Strong computer skills are a necessity, including familiarity with construction project management applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills and are required to interface directly with owners' representatives, the A/E team, building departments and other team members.

Responsibilities

Participates in pre-construction activities by establishing document control procedures and assisting with bid package development.
Coordinates project start-up, mobilization, and subcontractor/vender selection coordination.
Expedites materials and manages submittal/coordination drawing review processes to ensure on-time delivery and quality control.
Tracks project costs, manages change orders, and supports project closeout activities including As-Built drawings and warranties.
