Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to join our national construction team. You will support the Solar Project Manager and project team in planning and executing utility-scale solar sites across multiple states, coordinating submittals, deliveries, and contract documents.

You will track schedules, manage budgets, and drive safety and quality controls while liaising with owners, A/E teams, and vendors. Travel is extensive, and strong communication, finance basics, and computer skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline
• 6 months to one-year internship experience in the construction industry
• Strong computer skills are a necessity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and interfacing with owners, A/E teams and departments
• Basic finance skills are required

Responsibilities

• Participates in pre-construction activities incl. document control, takeoffs, site investigations and bid package development
• Coordinates project start-up, mobilization, and subcontractor/vendor selection
• Expedites materials, manages submittal logs, and coordinates delivery schedules
• Coordinates construction activities, safety, QA/QC inspections and meetings
• Facilitates project administration, RFIs, status reports, and Prolog management
• Tracks costs, pay requests, owner payments, and back charges
• Manages change orders, scope changes, schedule impacts, and cost proposals
• Manages project closeout, punch list, training, and as-built documentation
