Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Project Engineer to support the Solar Project Manager in delivering utility-scale solar installations across multiple states. You will track submittals, coordinate documents, and assist with startup and mobilization while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's in construction management or engineering, internship experience, and familiarity with construction project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related discipline.
• 6 months to 1-year internship experience in the construction industry.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction project management applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with owners, A/E team and building departments.
• Basic finance skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Participates in pre-construction activities, including document control, takeoffs, site investigations and bid package development.
• Coordinates project start-up, mobilization, subcontractor/vendor selection, and schedule development.
• Expedites materials, manages submittal logs, and reviews coordination drawings.
• Coordinates construction activities, conducts meetings, maintains tracking logs, and ensures safety compliance.
• Assists with project administration, RFI processing, and closeout documentation.
