Job summary

New Energy Equity's Energy Support Services division seeks a Solar O&M Technician Level 4 to act as regional technical expert and field leader. You will oversee maintenance, manage electrical permitting, and mentor technicians while coordinating with management and vendors.

The role offers a $100,000–$125,000 salary with a performance bonus, comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities within a nationwide solar platform.

Qualifications

• Active Master Electrician license is required.
• Valid New Mexico CID Journeyman Electrician certificate, EE-98J classification.
• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in solar PV installation, operations and maintenance.
• Ability to safely operate in 34,500VAC and 1500VDC environments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional field operations and mentor junior technicians.
• Coordinate complex preventative and corrective maintenance and safety compliance.
• Work with management and vendors on projects, commissioning, testing, and warranties.
• Oversee and review high-priority electrical maintenance tasks across the region.
• Develop corrective action plans for faults and grounding issues and complex malfunctions.
