Job summary

Enel North America is seeking a Lead Solar Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team. You will supervise up to 10 Field Service Technicians, manage daily schedules, and help troubleshoot AC/DC systems across solar PV plants.

Responsibilities include installing, testing, and maintaining equipment, performing safety-related tasks, and generating reports. Travel up to 25% and strong leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' relevant experience in the renewable energy sector
• 3+ years related experience with Associates Degree/Tech School Certification
• B.S. Degree (electrical or technical) with 6+ months of applicable experience
• Supervisory experience of field staff as a lead or foreman
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of up to 10 Field Service Technicians
• Schedule daily activities and optimize generation output
• Install, test, maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC components
• Perform current/voltage calculations as needed
• Complete safety documentation (LOTO, JSA, Permit to Work) and reports
• Read schematics to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Support regional maintenance activities and QA/QC
• Travel up to 25% and be available for on-call/emergencies
