Job summary

Solar Landscape is seeking O&M Technicians at multiple experience levels (Tier 1–4) to join our growing Operations & Management (O&M) team. These roles are critical to ensuring the reliable performance, safety, and efficiency of our commercial solar energy systems.

Whether you’re newer to the field or bring extensive solar experience, you’ll play an important role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing solar system performance while working in a collaborative, safety-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade certs are a plus.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude; able to work with hand and power tools.
• Experience with multimeters and insulation resistance meters; IV Curve tracer preferred.
• Able to work safely at heights and outdoors in various weather.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on solar panels, inverters, and related systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and faults to maximize uptime.
• Capture and review thermal imaging during inspections.
• Monitor system performance data and assist with optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support commissioning and ensure quality.
• Maintain accurate service records of maintenance and performance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Senior technicians (Tier 3–4) lead troubleshooting and mentor juniors.
