Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Performance Technician 3 to perform advanced troubleshooting and complex service diagnosis. This role trains and develops other field team members and requires an electrical certification per state requirements.

The position involves leading service schedules, coordinating labor, and ensuring safety compliance. PV installation knowledge and NEC code familiarity are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field construction experience with at least 1 year as a service technician in solar.
• High School diploma required.
• Valid Journeyman license or electrician certification per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and manage the warranty and service schedule.
• Coordinate with Foreman and Branch Manager to allocate labor for service and warranty projects.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance team members.
• Meet key performance indicators for field performance including turnaround time and dispatches.
