Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician to manage field service activities and warranty work across residential solar projects.

You will coordinate with the Branch Manager, Electrical Foreman, and Field Service Team to schedule labor and ensure quality installations from roof to meter. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of solar field experience, PV electrical knowledge, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field construction or solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Work with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to allocate labor resources to service and warranty projects as needed
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices
• Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating and average dispatches completed
• Assist with other tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned
• 100% Travel
