Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Performance Technician to manage warranty and service tasks, coordinate labor, and support training across the field service team. The role interfaces with the Branch Manager and central Field Service Team to ensure quality work and timely completion.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of solar field experience, knowledge of NEC codes, and strong communication and organizational skills to meet safety and customer service standards in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years field solar experience required.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Coordinate labor resources with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and Branch Manager.
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new members of the field performance team.
• Exceed defined goals for field performance KPIs including turnaround time and dispatches.
